Entering his fourth competitive season, Matt races across trail ultramarathon, gravel cycling, ski mountaineering, and flatwater paddle — competing in some of the most demanding formats in endurance sport while working full-time in federal conservation policy.
His work spans public lands, fisheries management, and coastal ecosystems at the federal level. His sport takes him through the raw landscapes those policies are meant to protect. The intersection is not accidental — it's the founding premise of Impact Endurance.
Matt also provides pro bono work to the Veterans Outdoor Advocacy Group (VOAG), a non-profit dedicated to promoting the benefits of outdoor adjunct therapy for Veterans. It's the kind of work that sits at the heart of what Impact Endurance is about — using the power of the outdoors to create meaningful, lasting change.
Impact Endurance is building a roster of athletes committed to performance and purpose. If that's you, we want to hear from you.
You're on the list. We'll be in touch.
